We wanted to say "Thank You" to all of our clients for a great 2007. Just a gentle reminder to you that spring is now upon us. This means many flowers are blooming and yes that means allergy problems are on the rise. If your dog or cat is starting to exhibit symptoms of an allergy please contact us for an appointment. The sooner we help to get their symptoms under control the happier your pet will be.
If you are having problems with fleas on your dog this season, please be reassured, help is here. We have a great new product call "COMFORTIS". This new flea product is given to dogs once monthly in the form of a chewable tablet, but the best thing is that it kills fleas with the FIRST bite. That's right, think of how much happier you and your dog will be with less fleas. Comfortis is however a prescription medication, so your pet must have a current examination before purchase.
If you haven't gotten a wellness profile for your pet in the last 12 months, please consider bringing them in. Wellness profiles are the key to determining your pet's healthy organ function while disease is still in a managable state. Once your pet begins to show symptoms of liver or kidney issues, many times the organ is badly damaged by the time we start treatment. Ideally we should begin treatment while your pet is still acting normal for optimum results and a longer happier life.
Warm weather is also upon us, so please make sure to keep plenty of fresh water and shade available for all pets when outdoors.
